2020 and 2021 have been interesting years for many businesses. COVID-19 has shown all of us how fragile economies are and that we all need to be prepared and proactive in business activities.
Many of these businesses shut down because they couldn’t operate online or have a strong online presence together with other reasons. Were you affected in a way or another by the downside economy? If yes, what are you going to do to prepare yourself?
Let me give you three recommendations:
1. Start building a social media presence. It’s free and very important. People can find you online through Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or Google +. It’s efficient and proven to help businesses throughout the world.
2. Build a functioning website. Don’t just build a site to show information about you but include call-to-action parts, offers, different ways for the client to contact you and buy your service through your website. Make the website an important part of your business.
3. Diversify your marketing efforts. Make sure to use newsletters, social media, landing pages and many other marketing tools until you find 2-3 that works best for you. Remember to review them and update them as things keep changing constantly.
All the best to your business efforts and wish you the best! Cheers.
